Founded in 1932, The Ohio Blow Pipe Company is a recognized leader in the design, fabrication and installation of pneumatic material handling, dust and oil mist collection systems for a variety of industries (see Industries Serviced page). Its systems are sold under the registered trade names Ohio Blow Pipe, OBP, AIRSCREEN, CLEANAIR dust collectors, ROTOVEYOR, AIRVEYOR and BANOIL to customers that range from Fortune 500 companies, with international manufacturing facilities, to privately owned single plant operations.

 

Ohio Blow Pipe is also a leader where unique scrap and dust conveying applications are required such as bulk bag removal systems used in the chemical, paint, bottling and food industries; pneumatic conveying in the metal and glass recycling industry; security shredding and document destruction; and continuous scrap conveying in the textile, fiber, film, foil labels and adhesives industries.

 

People

Our team of company sales engineers handles the sales and project management nationally and internationally and is augmented with strategic non-exclusive sales representatives and relationships with brokers of scrap paper and metals. Its manufacturing and installation crews are located at its headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio and at its wholly owned subsidiary, Advanced Airsystems, in Martinsville, Virginia. Ohio Blow Pipe’s certified and safety-trained mechanics have the capacity to perform system installations anywhere in the world.

 

Products

State-of-the-art CAD systems and CNC machinery are utilized to design and manufacture the company’s wide-ranging product lines. These include galvanized sheet metal ductwork, fittings and elbows, material handling fans, cutter fans, custom hoods, switch valves, rotary valves, cycling systems, slide gates, controls, AIRVEYORS, shredders, structural steel, cyclones, oil mist eliminators, dust collectors, and its patented under roof AIRSCREEN separator. Ohio Blow Pipe can design customized system solutions for each industry and each customer application, utilizing its own manufactured components, or, when required, bought-out components or machinery such as balers, compactors, belt conveyors, security shredders, hoggers and grinders.
